alrite
Lol hatchet, I rekon I used more putty than you. It actually does need some on every flippin join, and then some lol
LotusArenco
Your build looks awfully familiar to something sitting on my bench a couple of days ago. But blimey, I don't remember having to use that much filler on my Revell single seat boxing! Biggest problem I had was fitting that lower rear panel, and the front of the wings to fuselage join. Mind you it was probably due to my kack handed assembly sequence. Maybe different batch runs have a worse fit than others? As for fillers, I have started to use Mr Surfacer mixed with a bit of liquid poly for small gaps. Mart
hatchet
Mind you it was probably due to my kack handed assembly sequence. No it wasn't! And I do believe the Italeri and Revell kits are the same mould. Catch is, I'm using the fuse of an E and the mold was possibly modified slightly between the single- and twin-seat releases. Not sure of that tho'.
alrite
I have built both and the E, by a pinch, I think needs less work than the A/GR.1.
