Tim
Spoke to him last week - says it's done but not released yet because there's a delay with the decals.
Shaun
Sounds intresting with the new release of the Revel Mk9. Any ideas on what price the kit will be, and what does the conversion inclued? Could be a 1 TWU twin seater, sneaking it's way on the bench. Shaun. Note that the RAF and RN two-seaters were based on the Hunter F.4 and so had the RR Avon 100 engine and a smaller tailpipe section than the FGA.9 (which had the Avon 200). Many export two-seaters had the larger engine, though.
Tim
It's not a big problem - you can alter the jet pipe by just sanding the base (you might need some filler inside the jet pipe though in case you sand right through it - eek!) until it gets the distinctive upturned appearance. In 72nd scale, doing anything more would be pointless as the difference between the jet pipes is barely visible apart from when you look side-on. Never thought to ask if PJ will include a jet pipe with the kit though - doh! Edited January 19, 2008 by Tim
Shaun
The two seaters also have the brake chute housing. The wing featured the dog tooth leading edge and the overwing ejector blisters. I'm sure with a little sanding you can ajust the rear fuselage lines. Shaun.
Tim
As above, all you really gotta do it sand the rear of the lower jet pipe so it looks more turned-up - that ought to be more than sufficient. Grr, blasted Hunters, back to my book, 110,000 words and still going - aargh!
