Question for the P-40 experts

Hi fellas,

I won the 1/48 Hasegawa Kittyhawk Mk IV in a raffle last weekend, and I was curious if it is the same thing as a P-40N.

I think it goes something like this:

P-40E = Kittyhawk MkI

P-40F = Kittyhawk MkII

P-40K/L/M = Kittyhawk MkIII

P-40N = Kittyhawk MkIV

maybe...?...

Yes it's the same aircraft.

Yep, Zeke nailed it. Main differences between the 'M' and the 'N' APART from the cut-down rear cockpit and glazing are the wheels. On the 'N' they are smaller with open spokes. Also the seat is a much simpler bucket than you'll find in the earlier P-40's and the IP is subtley different too. You can see my AMT 'N' over on the Work in Progress thread.
