theplasticsurgeon
Luvvly Jag Tim, almost makes me want to build mine. Eventually. The stash currently stands at 78, I bet you would have to add a nought. Unbuilt stash currently rests at 135 - until Yeovilton. Completed collection - well the Jaguar (on completion) is no 420. theplasticsurgeon
And she's up, on her pins! I even flattened the tyres - as that is noticeable on most Jag photos.
theplasticsurgeon
I've now added all the little aerials and probes and detail stuff. All black leading edges as well.
DamienB
Stronger lighting and a lighter backdrop would help with the photos I think - difficult to see much.

I will endeavour to complete the payload, next time I'm airbrushing green - before the deadline and post more photos then. brooksy
Nice neat build Tim, and great choice of markings. I am also envious of the fact that you have finished yours and mine isn't even glued together yet! Regards Andy

Jags dooooo look better naked than some other types. Congratulations on finishing her Tim

theplasticsurgeon
Much better pics - looks the biz, but nekkid without any pylons/stores - dress the poor girl up a bit! These pictures are in my bathroom - with a conventional bulb, previous photos in the hall - with a long-life eco friendy, low energy job. I know which I prefer. Airbrushing of stores took place this morning - expect finish-line photos soon.
theplasticsurgeon
Quick reminder of the goal: http://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=0782244&size=L Declaring completion on the project - this cat is now dressed to kill! More photos on the finish line thread. This depicts the aircraft as she was taxying out of Fairford, engines running, slats/flaps retracted, and testing her air brakes. It's been fun - but it's time to move onto other projects. There's a good possibility that this model wil be on IPMS Gloucester table at Yeovilton. theplasticsurgeon
Rewarded with 2nd place in 48th Class, at local IPMS branch on Tuesday. I don't know what came first - as I had to leave to collect my son from cadets.
