the South African
Well Ive been a bit busy as of late with my real job for a change but here is some progress shots of the D and the B versions I have been working on look closely at the pics as there is a surprise in this thread to be revealed a bit later. The picsis very disorganised the date tags mostly wrong(forgot to set them when replacing the batteries),and the qualityup to crap but I'm sure that the point will carry over. The Dede Lou was handpainted and a pain in the nether regions to do but I think it was worth it in the end. Hope you like! Regards: Shaun Edited November 2, 2011 by the South African

the South African
Both of em all done and now working on a P38J.All the markings were hand painted except for the nationalmarkings and also the numbering on Dede Lou.The fit on the academy bird is good but I broke the fuselage in three places and had to mend it the canopy was thus not very good for fit and it had to be made open. will start new thread on the P38 and then post as soon as I can. Hope you all like: Regards: Shaun
Bertie McBoatface
Excellent examples of pushing the boundaries. I really like the hand painted markings. They are perhaps a little wobbly in a few places, but in 72 scale that's bound to happen, I guess. You don't do things the easy way do you Shaun?
