Panzers in the Ardennes

a few years ago my Wife & I went on a camping trip to Belgium, then Moselle, then back to the Ardennes (my bit!!) I know of nowhere else off hand where in a day of 100 miles driving you can see 4 WW2 Panzers at the roadside ( as well as many other Shermans and others). having seen the excellent diorama http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=78844 I thought some pictures might be of interest to everyone.

wow! only took 3 goes to (hopefully) re-size pics etc. better at models than computers JD

Crikey, that one in the second picture looks like it's still lying in wait.

It's only the chainlink that gives it away as a static.

good isn't it? as you come over the hill you don't really notice it until you are almost on it. fantastic place, Belgium. must add some pictures of all the Shermans there.

I think that the Tiger 2 at La Gleize has had a panther 75mm gun barrel fitted (if i remember the original one was damaged)
