Shar2
I don't really do 1/700, but may have to get the Warspite. Please Trumpeter, upscale this to 1/350.

Admiral Puff
My normal area of interest is Australian civil aircraft, but I've just started a Trumpeter 1:700 'Queen Elizabeth' for a change - I have a bit of a "thing" for the QE class. The kit's painting instructions are less than adequate. Can anyone guide me, please, as to the correct colours to use? I know she was grey over red anti-fouling, but which ones? (Humbrol refs would be useful.) Also, I understand that the teak decking soon reduced to a pale off-white because of repeated holystoning - is this correct? I've seen some references that suggest that at the time depicted by the kit (war's end, 1918) the decks were actually painted grey. Any assistance would be most appreciated. If this works, I plan to look at back-converting the 1:350 kit to an "as commissioned" model.
