jacksdad
Hello Ladies and Gents, Well the Tornado GB has now come to an end and it only remains to pick your favourites. There are 5 catagories, so if you would be so kind, please have a look in each and pick your favourite. 1/144 - http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=72116 1/72 - http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=71484 1/48 - http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=71486 1/32 - http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=71487 WHIF - http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=71488 Thank you for your time. May I take this opportunity to thank everyone who took part in the GB, whithout whom it would not have taken place. Also, thanks to Mish who was patient and kind with her guidance on what was my first GB, both participating and hosting. I would like to thank all the companies who very kindly donated stuff for the prize fund. And last and by no means least to my (now) good friend Merv. At the start of the GB he was most helpful with his time, knowledge and experience (having hosted the previous GB). However, during the GB we have had very many PM chat's which I have enjoyed very much, and a lot of on-thread banter. Throughout all this he managed to build a fantastic 1/32 GR.4 and had to endure more than his fair share of problems. Merv, it's been an absolute pleasure getting to know you and I hope one day to share a sherbet or two with you. Sir, your a gent. Take a bow. jacksdad
Just had a look at the scores on the door's 1/72 and 1/48 we seem to have definate favourites that have a good lead. 1/32 is fairly close. 1/144 is even as they both have the same number of votes. Still a few more days voting left, so keep checking guys. Steve

jacksdad
Wow, I can't believe that it's still a dead heat in the 1/144 catagory. The other catagories seem to have clear winners, but there is still a couple of days to go so that may change. Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to vote, so far. Voting finishes on Saturday when I will list the winners. Steve
Jon Kunac-Tabinor
There are some class models in this group build chaps, everyone should be proud of their builds. I think we possibly have more Tornados in the GB than the RAF now possesses BTW Keep voting!! Jonners

AndyC
Hi all Thanks to all that voted - it meant a lot to all of us I am sure and at the risk of repeating myself the GB was a fantastic experience. I, for one, will be doing it again as it is a superb way to apply a little discipline to my modelling (nothing like a deadline!). Thanks once again to Steve and Merv and maybe see some of you on the Dakota STGB! Andy Edited September 4, 2011 by AndyC
