Good call, Shaun. Can you show us the box, sprues, decals and instructions? We all like

to see the starting point of everyone's build!

I didn't know HobbyBoss did a Hip. . .

The rotor blades is carefully wraped up in bubble wrap a nice touch by HB:

The Other sprues all the panel lines is very finely engraved and this is a very nicely molded model with absolutely no flash. The seats is in needof some work though and the interior will also have to get some attention(there is cutlines on the clamshell doors so I find myself REALLY WANTING to do the interior;once again does anyone know the correct colours .I have the Kageroo topshots book but I am too lazy to dig it out right now)

O.k so while waiting for the clear fix to set on the cat I had a thought:Why not start on the chopper?Well two hours later and this is where I'm at.I'm very sure that I could have just placed a tin of glue in the box and politely asked the kit to jump together! The fit is great and it builds up damn fast!

Well on to the pics:

Fuselage and the very considerate and reasonably accurate rib detail by HB:

Overall progress:

Basically all that is left concerning kit parts is to do the main rotor blades tail rotor and stick on the wheels then on to painting ....... but then again that is not the way I play!

Hope you like.

Shaun
