Hawkeye's Hobbies
I've been posting this over on ARC, but the project took a swing towards an RAF theme. Using the Minicraft kits of a B727 and B707 I mated the wings of the latter to the airframe of the 727 to create a long range variant of the 727. Hence the designation 727XLR (eXtra Long Range). She'll probably get a refueling probe, since that is standard on most RAF types. The larger beefier landing sticks from either the 707 or 757 will be added as well to accommodate the heavier gross weight. This aircraft could serve as a transport, recon platform, maritime patrol or airborne classroom for training.
