Thanks Ross. Yeah, isn't it about time you got back to building the Sovremenny?

Nothing wrong with Ikea stuff Dan. That Lazy Susan is very handy. :D

Thanks Dave, absolutely beautiful :wub: I want to start on ships again after a 15 year lay off, these have really egged me on, but i can only dream of such standards. But i will keep practicing.

Thanks Mick. Get back to it, there are loads of fabulous maritime kits to choose from. BTW I've highlighted the important bit in your statment. Oh yeah! and HAVE FUN.

Thanks Sulky, but I think you overestimate my talent somewhat.

Truly beautiful work, Dave! Nice to see her sat next to KGV, too. Scharny looks kinda like a 'slim hipped sister' to the KGV (if you forget about them being opposite sides, of course)!

Gold teacups to hold her up - how ostentatious! hee hee... ;)

Been great to follow this one - one for prominent display, I'd say.

Cheers

Hi Dave,

tremendous model (museum standard) and a pleasure to see.

I also liked the KGV and am now thinking that my POW needs to come back out of its box and get started.......... Naw, I'm not up to that standard yet, especially after seeing yours!

Cheers

Thanks for the comments Mike, you'll be able to see her at Yeovilton in October.

Rubbish, if you can produce great models in 1/144, (which you do), then it's really only a minor drop down to 1/350. You've obviously got the patience, so get the PoW out and give it a go.

I'd better finish my HMS Invincible first, my wife says she wants the spare bedroom back! I need somewhere to put my 1/144 Helicopters and Harriers.

Dave,

Any ideas on how you are going to display the model - in a case ?

Ross

Yes Ross, I'm going to get a custom case made up for her.

Hello Shar2.

Job well done.

I liked the two warships next to eacht other.

This gives a good over vieuw of the seize (difference).

Regards,

Dirk

Hi Chris

I can bring it along if you like, but it does need a bit of TLC now, as I had an accident with taking it to the Farnborough club when I had first finished it..
