Hi All,

I've got a few ID models vac forms but the rarest kit I think I have is

ID 1/12th scale Messerschmitt 262B, one of only 50 made.

And it's for sale if I have any takers.

Bob

P.S. I'll post a photo when I can get my head around how to do it.

forgot my esoteric ones. Certainly not "rare" but I have never seen ONE of these kits over here in the States

I loved the movie BTW!!

Cracking choice, Mike! Makes me want to build mine. Hey, anyone fancy a Wallace and Gromit group build?

Mm, I have lots of old vacs that are rare these days, but I'll go for these:

(i) Meiekraft 1/72 Caproni Ca 3 - Mint in box

(ii) Lincoln 1/144th Sunderland

(iii) A french resin of a wibault 20/30s fighter

(iv) A Typhoon 1A conversion that was supposed to be a Heritage kit....

(v) Airfix Islander (NOT Defender)

Most esoteric?

Probably a 1/72 AD Scout Vacform

Mine has to be a pair of Revival 1/20 GP cars. A 1939 Mercedes W165 and a 1952 Ferrari 500. Or maybe a Union Ferrari 330 P4 Le Mans car.

The most esoteric? Probably A Model's Rutan Voyager. I've long admired Dick Rutan and Jeana Yeager. Anyone fancy spending 9 days in a cabin 20 inches high?

in my stash most rare I think is the 1/144 C-5A of Otaki an the KC-10 Extender of Revell. I will build those. my worst kit ever is nearing to completion which is the ESCI F-100 finaly done after realy many times of nearing the trash bin. :angrysoapbox.sml:

Like the other guys, most of my good stuff is in the loft and therefore not easily available for photographing. This year I bought and built a MANIA 1:48 Ki27 - guess that's pretty rare. In the stash there's:

1:48 Fujimi 109G-K (the one with the vast decal sheet)

1:48 Monogram Voodoo (original issue with the Tx ANG markings)

1:72 Revell Thunderchief - the scaled-down 1:48 Monogram kit

1:72 Monogram UH-16 Albatross

1:72 Matchbox Hunter (original issue)

1:72 Hasegawa RF-4C, F-4E, F-4J & F-4B/N all in their original boxings, I know they have been re-released from time-to-time but the originals are really hard to get a hold of nowadays..... When was the last time anybody saw a 1:72 'G' ???

and my favourite 'rarity'

1:24 Monogram '69 Judge - Original issue

Ian

Hey.... maybe we should start a thread for 'The Rarity I really want for my Stash'....... :hmmm:
