I know that the GB calendar is chokka for the next couple of years, but I thought that the Airfix Starter Kit GB last year was popular & successful and that there were thoughts about making it a more or less regular feature. Not a big GB person, but that's one I'd be happy to sign up for.

There is the OOB group build in April (which I have a vested interest in), which I hope will be similar along lines, empasis on Fun and simple.

That's why the dates are nice and short, and cover Easter and as many bank holidays as I could arrange.....

We/I did think of running the Airfix starter kit GB again this year. I was thinking of the same period that Peter's OOB GB was suggested, so I went with that idea.
There is nothing to stop us organising an Airfix Starter Kit GB this year, say over a BH weekend. As you say I'm sure it will be popular.

I like the sound of a bankholiday weekend build. A bit like the blitz build GB but with more sleep! . Just one thought why not make it open to starter kits of all makes, Revell and Italeri make some nice sets and would add a bigger choice of subjects and a greater chance of interested parties haveing something in the stash allready without haveing to buy another kit.(i get into enough trouble now!! )
