GrouchoMark2
Been a funny old year-as due to circumstances haven't been involved in modelling since Sept/Oct-hopefully more time this year. Displayed some at Elvington and all suffered transit damage despite my pathetic precautions. Must get round to finishing repairs-etc etc. Anyway here's what I have so far All comments welcome Early Mk IX-Extended Hasegawa with resin nose-needs a few bits and bobs Fujimi 190/A8-out of the box-lost most guns/antenna in transit to show-fix it-fix it-know nothing about FWs except I like em Silver Cloud MB5-lots of U/C damage and flaps held on with bluetack after transit damage. Falcon canopy- needs permanently fixing in place ICM-out of the box Mk XII-ICM body and Hobbycraft (Chinese edition) nose grafted on. Soon as I started it Airfix announced a MkX11 so if anyone has an unavailable subject they'd like produced I can start a conversion for a small fee. Seafire Mk1-Tamiya-still needs a few stencils and gun patches-not sure about IFF and radio aerials for this one More to come if you're really unlucky and I can master Photobucket best Groucho

GrouchoMark2
ICM Australian Mk VIII-current wisdom seems to suggest this was DFS but looking at photos I think jury still out. Latest Barracudacals certainly grey/green. Still I'm not repainting it. ICM-Seac MkXI. Lots of panel filling but I must do more photorecons-lots of attractive schemes. This one seems to highlight the shape oddities of the ICM-I have a theory on this and no doubt will expound at a later date (nothing like a good expounsion!) ICM prototype Mk V111 lowback-my favourite Spit of them all. Used a 'bastardised' Airfix Mk 47 curved windscreen. New Mk 17 windscreen would be better. Seafire MkII-Tamiya + airwaves wing. Handpainted codes-since found out there is a decal sheet for this-ah well. Attractive for the pale blue undernose (squadron/flight recognition?) Revell 47N-out of the box-again show casualty-lost all guns and undercarriage. Needs work on replacement guns but a very pleasant low stress build That's your lot - still half a dozen half-started and never finished Hood, Pola or the Tamiya 1/32 Mk IX. Maybe in 2011 Have a great modelling year everyone. best Groucho
