Saw this kind of thing on ARC for the Tomcat and thought it would be nice to have one for the Tornado.

Quite simply the sole purpose of the thread is to allow folk to post there favourite Tornado pics and for other folks to go OOOOooohhh!!!!!!!!

anyhoo, I will kick it off with the one I am working on at the moment.

Thanks for looking and I hope this works.

Wow, great response. There are some fantastic shots posted already.

Spike, I love the onboard shot over the lake. Site seeing at it's best!!

Michael, I believe it's a GR.1. I actually have it on my to-do pile, using Revell 1/32 kit and decals from Xtradecal.

I suppose I should explain why I love the Tornado. Years back (early 80's!!!) I saw an article in the local tv news showing film on Tornado's flying through the glens, here in Scotland. I could not believe how fast and low these guys were flying. I actually found myself getting nervous just watching. To me that was the ultimate demonstration of an aircraft not to be messed with. Those aircrew must have had HUGE balls of titanium.

Anyhoo, skip forward a few years and I was with 2622Sqn RAF Regiment at Lossiemouth. During one of our many short(?) nature rambles I was on a hill side having a wee rest, when we all poo-poo ourselves as two Tornados flashed past BELOW(!) us. Total respect.

The photo below is, to me, what the Tornado is all about.

Thanks, and keep the photos coming.
