worm
XT899, the all blue Phantom is at Kbely in the Czech Republic now, remember seeing her a couple of years ago, starting to fade now. pte1643
Nice photo's. My old Supervisor spent some time at Wildenrath, among other places, during his "lengthy" (22 yr) career. He was a Flight Systems Tech on Phantoms, and spent most of his time "flitting" between 19 and 56. He came out in '93, right at the end of the Phantom era. ExRAF
Great photos, especially the touchdown shot of '475, and the crew photo. Some good ideas for dioramas for those blessed with the skills and patience.

upnorth
XT899, the all blue Phantom is at Kbely in the Czech Republic now, remember seeing her a couple of years ago, starting to fade now.Great photos. Steve She's been fading for a while now, but I think she's probably kept quite sound structurally. The canopy was still nice and clear when I took these pics in June 2007:
AnonymousAA72
What a lovely selection of photo's!! I particularly like 19 Sqn's '478/"B" with red "Hi-viz" fin. Looks like a 41 Sqn zap on one of the tanks, and what appears to be a pale blue roundel!!! Those WERE the days, eh? Mike H
Superb pics HomeBee. I was an airframe mechanic on 92 Squadron at Wildenrath from 1985 to 1987. The photos bought back a lot of memories and I thank you for posting them. Mike
