1/48 Tamiya BF109 E-3

Recommended Posts

Here's my Tamiya Bf109 E-3 built for the Blitzkrieg Group Build.

I used a few extras:

Montex masks and markings

Hobbydecal stencils

Master metal gun barrels

Ultracast exhausts, wheels, seat, prop & spinner

Constructive criticism welcome.

Looks great, how did you get on with the montex masks? i've just ordered some for a spit?

Cheers Rich

Thanks,

The Montex masks are great for the markings but the ones for the glass areas are a little thick and don't conform very well to curves. I prefer the Eduard ones for glazing.

Wunderbar!

Artur, if you look at the 5th picture (the one that shows the leading edge) you'll see the blanked off (E 1) machine gun port inboard of the cannon barrel, (they say a picture is worth a thousand words and hopefully that shows you what I was trying to explain the other day). Great paint job too isn't it.
