If one considers the propensity of 1/48 and 1/32 scale kites, and all the superdetail accesories such as rigging buckles (etc), it is a solid endorsement of how 'right' these older kits were. All they need is attention from a careful modeller. Speaking as a modeller who routinely makes a pig's breakfast of these sorts of models, I say well done indeed, sir!Will THANK YOU Will for you kind words. What amazed me about this win is that the model was only 1 of 4 of my own biplanes entered. I added just a seat & a piece of rod as a control column in this model 2 of the others have full etch-brass interiors, & the 3rd, Airfix's Hawker Demon has a full scratchbuilt interior.
