Mike Posted April 11, 2007 Share Posted April 11, 2007 Every user of this site has a Warn Bar against their name, which is only viewable by them and the Admins of this site. It serves as a personal reminder of the status of your membership, as can be seen below:A member's Warn Bar starts off healthily in the green at 0%. If their actions result in a warning from an Admin, the Warn bar will move towards red, and they may be suspended for a week to a month to cool off. A member can be warned twice before being banned on the third warning, and the that ban is usually permanent. If a member's actions warrant exclusion from the forums immediately (for example spamming, fake accounts or trolling), they will be banned without any prior warning.It is there to serve as a deterrant for those that may wish to disrupt the enjoyment of the forums for others, and is not used frivolously by the Admins. We sincerely hoped that it would have remained unused, and hoped that mature and reasonable discussion could resolve any problems before they escalate that far. Unfortunately, there are a few people with whom reason simply does not work. I hope that this explains what the Warn Bar means, and that you never have cause to think about it any further!
