Romeo Alpha Yankee
Here is my usually tidy start to a build. As you can see not much progress but I have started! Box shot Started It will be totally OOB. The nice thing is that it also has Finnair decals which I can use on another kit (when I find one).
Heraldcoupe
Nice subject, and one I've been tempted to do myself. Cheers, Bill.

Romeo Alpha Yankee
Making progress on the Dak.... Since the cabin and cockpit windows are added from the inside before closing her up I decided to paint the exterior around the windows and then installing them. I will mask the general area around them, rather than individually masking each window, when I go to do the final overall paint. I can also do it this way since that part of the fuselage will be under the cheat line decals. So I added the windows using clear parts cement and left them to dry. Also painted the cockpit though this shot is pretty crap Another shot of the windows fitted (inside and out) Some assembly done, I have also done a little filling and sanding since the fuselag did not wantto close up properly So it is now ready to mask the windows and hit it with another coat of aluminum. Back to the bench...

David Koktavý
It looks very nice . When I saw that kit in our shop, I was really considering to buy this one. Nevertheless I didn´t it. I am afraid I will realise this was a big mistake...
Deacon
Ray, that's looking great mate. What paint is the exterior silver, as it looks like it has gone on very nicely? Deacon
Romeo Alpha Yankee
Ray, that's looking great mate. What paint is the exterior silver, as it looks like it has gone on very nicely? Deacon I am using a Testers Model Master Metaliser - Aluminium Plate, I also used the metaliser sealer for the first time to see how it would take masking. Seems to have worked well.
