Some old models - Aerobatic teams

Thought I'd show a few photos of models I've built over the years. I had an aerobatic team binge for a while (I still have many more in the stash) Some were built in the early 1980s although most are from the 1990s.

A 1/72 Blue angels set - Fujimi Phantom, Hasegawa TA-4, F11F and Cougar. Matchbox Panther and ESCI A-4

1/72 Patrouille de France from a Heller set.

1/72 Thunderbirds set - Hasegawa, Airfix and Fujimi kits

A variety of models. Hasegawa F-86 Blue Impulse, Premier Tucano of the Brazilian AF Smoke squadron, Frecce Tricolori MB339 and a Belgian AF Matchbox Alpha Jet .

Hasegawa 1/48 F-16A.

Premier 1/48 Hawk T.1 of the Red Arrows

Fujimi 1/48 Blue Impulse Mitsubishi T-2

1/48 F/A-18A Hornet - I can't remember the kit - it had dark blue plastic though.

Another mixture - all in 1/72.

1/72 Su-27 painted in the Test Pilots scheme with a MiG29 of the Russian AF team (the ones that crashed at Fairford)

Nice! I really like theme collections, where the total impression is more than the sum of the individual models.

Maybe replace the wing roundels on the 1:48th Hawk? The white misalignment stands out with nothing to distract in that simple scheme…
