Mediterranean Camouflage Tamiya mix

Would some one please tell me why in the Tamiya's Beaufighter painting instructions tells me to mix Three Colours to get what I assume to be Azure Blue , when I go on to the IPMS site and found the following mix for Mediterranean Camouflage lower surfaces useing Tamiya paints T:XF-18 + X-14, can someone tell me if they have mixed this combination, and if ti's any good.
