Hi from the other side of the Channel.

I'm trying to build this...

The cockpit is "highly detailed":

- the office is "crammed with detailing" and the IP doesn't even have a base

- the seat is incredibly accurate (probably a copy of the Italeri F-16 Stencel seat when it should be a MB Mk.10) so is the pilot (copy of the Matchbox generic jet pilot)

The canopy will be closed but I had to do something to make the office less silly. Bits of plastic card added to the cockpit: IP base, HUD control panel and edge of glareshield. A little cylinder for the throttle. The seat used is the Pavla MB.10L where I had to cut off most of its base (using a heated scalpel blade: I hate resin dust) because the cockpit tub is too shallow. After painting...

It looks a bit messy but

1) the canopy will be closed

2) the scale is 1/72

I'll glue and putty the canopy tomorrow.

No big progress because I had problems with the vacuformed canopy. I glued it using superglue and I wanted to improve the seam using white glue before the superglue fully cured... the superglue absorbed the white glue's water and the canopy "frosted". I had to strip the Klir from the canopy and reKlir it. I glued the stabilators yesterday but removed them as they weren't symetrical.
