Cheers Deacon I usually use Humbrol 250 mixed with a touch of white, but it normally depends on how long the aircraft has been in theatre as it faded in the desert sun. To be honest any shade will do really as each aircraft faded at a different rate, plus the weathering and oil streaks make the paint also seem different. Deacon Posted July 28, 2010 Author Share Posted July 28, 2010 Well, recessing the panel lines was a disaster and I had lines going off all over the place. So, I went out and bought another just so I could at least complete a Buccaneer for my shelf (and this GB of course). I also managed to get a resin replacement for the tail fins. I am not happy with the results so far. I couldn't get hold of a replacemnt set of undercarriage, so it will be finished 'flying' using one of the Italeri bases.
