I must say I am a big fan of the Academy 1/48 P47 series of kits.

They can be had for almost 1/4 of the price of the Tamiya equivalent, and yet are a great build.

I have built a few of the Academys and still have 4 or 5 in the stash.

If you fancy building a 1/48 P47, but don't want to part with £20+, go get an Academy for £6-7, you will be amazed!

I have many started models, the time for finishing is finally come on.
