Inverted
handy to have.... 11sqn bar colours are the wrong way around unless its to model the one that was actually painted incorrectly...
Bobski
Technically they weren't painted incorrectly as the squadron markings on Typhoons are actually decals, but yeah, the paintshop really didn't do a very good job on that one! They look good, especially the IPA 6 tail markings. It's a shame the 1435 Flt markings aren't correct... Edited January 26, 2010 by Bobski

AnonymousFY21
It's not on the site yet for some reason. A quick warning! Just checked it out in an editing program and it DOES NOT scale for 1/48th like all the others yet. I guess that's in the works before it appears on the site. rich
Bobski
never knew that! now how much future/microsol would that have taken!!?? No idea, but I did wonder what that Johnson's tanker was doing by the paint shop... Incidentally the fact that they are decals means it is a b*tch to get the correct effect on the squadron markings. All the roundels, serials and stencils are painted, so they are matt finish (like the rest of the jet) but the squadron markings are glossy. Anyone who successfully manages to reproduce that on a model gets a round of applause from me!
