RAF Hercules camo pattern?

Yet another request from the desert,

I'm building the Airfix (Italeri) Herc for a mate as a short fuselage '80's type.

The kit comes with Aussie/NZ or modern RAF decals and no sign of camouflage.

My mate wants either wraparound Grey/Green or even with a light grey underside.

I have decals (thanks to Colin at decalbank) for XV305

Oh, and yes, I've fixed the engines so they're all in line (thanks to previous posters)

Can anyone please help with a camo pattern layout?

TIA

Pete

Looks good! That particular C-130, the C.1P appears to be the unextended version, an E/H in other words.

I'm expecting a donated set of decals for an RAF Herc and this looks promising. Id have to scratch build the refuel probe, but I could probably turn my ESCI/ERTL C-130 into an RAF variant.

Hmmm... like I said, promising.

Many thanks for your replies.

Stringbag, that's the xtradecal set I wanted but it was out of stock

by the time I got around to it.

Next weekend is painting time!

Thanks again,

Pete

P.S. Dahut, I had a post on here last year with Herc questions.

Lots of very nice people listed the various problems with the

available Herc kits. One of these was the ERTL. Have a search

under RAF Hercules & see what comes up.
