MikeC
This is that very rare thing, a kit I picked up and started the same week. In case you're not familiar with it, it's the Italeri/ESCI/Revell/whatever 1:48 Hs 123, repackaged with a Black Box resin interior , additional parts for undercarriage sans spats as sported by these aircraft towards the end of their life and a very nice decal sheet. Anyway, Black box is up there with Neomega (at any rate on this one) in that the resin fits with little to no modification - remove the locating lugs for the original kit interior and you're there, just a bit of smoothing where the lugs come off. Alas, the resin is a bit brittle and I broke the control column, you can see that I've cobbled a replacement from the stump and the kit stick. I/P and seat have yet to be installed. And after a couple of painting sessions: Thanks for looking. Edited September 1, 2007 by MikeC

David_in_Fremont
That Black Box office looks very nicely detailed and you've done a really nice job with painting it. Interesting subject as well!
