I was surprised to see a few years ago at Duxford that the TSR 2 wing is higher off the ground than the outer panel of the Vulcan wing parked next to it. I know that the Duxford TSR 2 is only partially equipped at best and lacks engines and avionics, but it’s still an impressive size, even if the wingspan is only 3 inches or so more than that of the dinky little Spitfires operating from the airfield just outside (runs away bravely and dives even bravelier for some very, very deep cover).
