Irish 251
Picture of the Telford Comet model: http://www.flickr.com/photos/24101413@N03/4090613788/ The modeller's notes reveals that he carried out some major surgery, including making a new nose (different cockpit windows, I think) new intakes and reprofiling the fin. The markings are all hand-painted too.

Phil W
Well Done! I don't think that I would ever be able to achieve as much. I read somewhere that the forward fuselage and cockpit of the SE-210 Caravelle was identical to the Comet. If that is the case has anyone tried using the Mach 2 Caravelle in such a conversion? Colin W
I had a chat with Ray Charles at 26 decals and he had the 1/72 Comet decals for $, 4A, 4B and 4C and about 3 Dan Air schemes fo reach so if you know which one you want then he can supply. www.twosixdecals.co.uk Im doing the same thing but will go all the way backj to a Comet 1 in BOAC scheme Cheers Colin W
richellis
I was thinking about a Comet 1, but it will be easier to do a 4. So I am planning to cut some plastic soon. Could do with some good plans though! Any progress?
