Laurent
The end of the road is visible now. I'm still puzzled how Amodel messed up the painting directions http://sternlaurent.free.fr/amodelYak28ppWashed1.jpg http://sternlaurent.free.fr/amodelYak28ppWashed2.jpg http://sternlaurent.free.fr/amodelYak28ppWashed3.jpg http://sternlaurent.free.fr/amodelYak28ppWashed4.jpg
keefr22
She's looking really good Laurent, can't wait to see the masking come off! And despite fearing the risk of reprisals from the party faithful, I like the look of those roundels placed over the red stars....!! KK
AnonymousFO98
WHAT! how could you say that Keith! :kgb: Does look good Laurent I assume people will be okay with her in the gallery as the red stars are there - just! good luck - hope she is finished in time and look forward to seeing the finished build
mitchem
Sorry for the delayed response - just been watching France beat Wales in the Six Nations, and all I want to say is your Yak looks Yuck ! Truly awful ! Complete waste of space ! Fortunately, I'm only a sore loser for a very short period of time, so now I can be honest and say "C'est Magnifique !!!" :thumbsup2: You've done a cracking job on your jet and I'm liking the decal work a lot ! Looking forward to seeing it unmasked and on its wheels in the gallery Best Regards mike (We'll give your rugby team a lesson next year..... )
Laurent
All the parts are glued but antennas need to be painted and the flat coat needs to be applied. I'll be finished tomorrow or the day after if I want to make sure that the paint's dry.

mitchem
Top notch Laurent ! Hope you don't mind me saying that I'm secretly thanking my lucky stars that you didn't meet the dead-line - Your Yak would have blown mine away ! Very nice job. Laurent
Done. Could have been better (addition of the missing landing lights among other things) but could have been worst. Thanks for the kind words guys. I'll submit the build for the ARC gallery: the model isn't a contest winner but it's something else than a bloody F-14/15/16. And now for something completly different: an AMX do Brazil... Edited March 6, 2010 by Laurent
