How to use your wishlist

Hi All,

I was thinking the other day that unlike Amazon and a few other places, there's not much scope for modellers to post up their wishlists on any sites, and as buying stuff for a modeller is a mite tricky for the uninitiated, I wondered if posting them up here might be an idea. That way all you would need to do is entrust someone to spread the link to your thread about, and after your event, be it birthday, Christmas, anniversary or whatever, you can update it to reflect your new wants and needs.

So... I created this subforum for us all to use. Here's a quick run-down of the way to use it:

  1. Each member can have one thread
  2. No-one can reply to it, to stop threads being filled up with chatter
  3. The original poster can update it whenever they want if their needs change
  4. You pass your link to anyone that might be buying you something for your event, and hope that they talk to eachother so you don't get duplicates
  5. If you want to post up links or pictures on your thread, go for it... it'll work just like a normal thread, and it'll hold buyers' hands, if they're lazy, or not familiar with model shop websites.

Enjoy :)
