Very, very intersting! Where did you manage to get your hands on two jetstream kits?

I'm intrigued. Why are you taking the fin off one of them?

I regularly see the Royal Navy Jetstreams tearing up the M5 at a reasonable low level.

I'll be following this build with interest

Keep up the good work.

I'd have thought you'd have to kill for one Airfix Jetstream, never mind two.

Not that hard a kit to find - last in the main catalogue in the late 80s, and re-issued as a 'special order' kit for members of the Airfix club a couple of years ago.

dear all
for this job I am using two kit Airfix 1/72 that me purchased three years ago.
the first one will be a Jetstream T3 of the Royal Navy, while the second a T1 of the RAF.
currently working to the motors and the mobile surfaces

Just had to look on ebay for one now.. My dad used to fly Jetstream 31's for Netherlines back in the day, and it's the only one not in the collection, other than the HS125 I'm working on now..

I picked up my Magna kit the other day from Chris57, very nice it is too! Or you could pay the absolutely extortionate 130 for the Omega models version, this must come with PE platinum for that price :analintruder:

I saw those in the Netherlands at the aviation megastore in Aalsmeer.. For what you're getting I find it very very hard to justify that amount of money. It's almost like the guy who mastered it didn't want to make more than absolutely necessary.
