salfordsniper
Which is the best type of glue for gluing canopies? I have used CA and liquid cement but both leave blooming on the canopies!

Dipping in Future will prevent "fogging" by CA but by far the best glue is PVA (white) glue.

entlim
Try Gator Grip the best- clear, and holds once dried.....
chaoslord
i am using Revell Contacta Clear. it is not fogging the clear parts. but it looks suspiciously similar to white glue to be honest....
AnonymousAA74
I use THIS. It looks and smells like it has a PVA base, but there is deffo something different in there too.
AdriaN (MLT)
I use transperant pva. it great stuff. not necessarily modelling pva. i use the extra residue that poors out, to fill up the gaps. its quite strong.
Greg B
What Ed says, cheap, water soluble to either clean up or run into the gaps, not too quick drying time with a bit of grip from the start and bloody strong. Whats more you can use it with etched brass details. Try Gator Grip the best- clear, and holds once dried.....
cmatthewbacon
I swear by Formula 560, as well. I swear AT most other options! bestest, M.
little-cars
The two I reccomend to my customers at the moment are Pacer 560 AKA Canopy glue and Gator grip glue. The canopy glue is a PVA, but does have a good gap filling capability and good grip. Gator grip glue is a brilliamy acrylic resin that is good for sticking canopies, lenses, even small PE pieces in place. Both glues clean up with water before they have set and neither harm clear plastic.
brodders1997
ive always used humbrol clearfix and i would never change. i always apply it with a cocktail stick anD when it dries properly it goes perfectly clear and you can chop the rest off.
