Nev
First off took the lad for a little walk near Humberside airport to "see the planes" but the little monkey decided he wanted to go back after just 5 minutes. Naturally a Red Arrows Hawk came flying over right where we where 2 minutes previously - just as I was strapping him into the car and did a nice touch and go. But as we were driving off I stopped the car to get some pics of a puddle jumper taking off Sorry the pics aren't top notch, my camera isn't quite good enough for that. Couple of weeks ago went for a walk with my dad south of Lincoln - part of the route took us through RAF Cranwell. There is a footpath right close to the runway (with a nice park bench) that would make for a pleasant days plane spotting as there was a constant stream of aircraft in the circuit that we could see and hear as we spent the day walking to the north of the base. The photos below were taken in the 5-10 minutes it took to walk between the village of Cranwell and the base itself, a busy little airfield! Skii
That Dominie looks the business in black. Great shots Nev John
