gengriz
I don't know whether the experts consider it "the best 1/72 Jaguar kit", but I picked up the Revell GR.1 (in M&S guise) from the Marks & Spencer outlet in Swindon, for the grand sum of £4.99 this afternoon. At that price it seemed worth a punt and it looks pretty good in the box to me! FredT

AnonymousAA72
I'd certainly vote for the Hasegawa GR1 - not perfect but slightly better overall than the Italeri /Revell kit. The Flightpath set will enhance either. EDIT: Just read Damien's synopsis - ........what he said (though I'd have to disagree with him on the bit about the "rarely used" EMI recce pod - it was used extensively by 2 & 41 Sqn Jag's) Edited June 10, 2009 by Bill Clark

F3 Demon
Don't for get about the Airfix kit, it's not bad will need a bit of work in the cockpit area and it's the only kit with the update for a GR.3. Ian
