cmatthewbacon
Work in progress: Revell's 1/72 Camel: It's for a review, so no full build thread I'm afraid, but so far the verdict is that the plastic is showing its age, but the decals are superb. I've done a few tweaks (notably deepening the fuselage and shortening the struts) to make it more "Camel-shaped". Now it's time to string her up.... fortunately my mate Bob and his Buckles are to hand! bestest, M.
cmatthewbacon
..still a few last tweaks and tidy-ups to do, and maybe (maybe...) some elevator control cables, but she's pretty much done. Proper pictures and some more musings tomorrow... bestest, M.
AdriaN (MLT)
I have this model! it was a bitch. biplanes are the toughest iv done. i stuck the wooden spokes on the bottom wings along side the cables that gave me many problems when i put on the top wong. how did you fit in the cables AFTER construction? are they nylon?
