That's a cracking build there Bill, captures the delicate look of your subject very well and resides in some nice company if the background of your final photo is anything to go by ;)

Yes you are right John it was actually Formaplane, built long ago....

You do good stuff, three out of my last four builds were yours...

Maybe get around to posting pics of the others.

I built the booms/tail as a separate subassembly I figured once I had that done the rest would be just a biplane.

The booms and the wings/nacelle were built about a year apart, you can see the differences if you look close...

I put the upper wing floating on its struts until I got the booms in position, you can see some variation in struts if you look close.

You also used a different landing gear option, so did I!. I dod not fancy that far forward little wheel...

I actually built it with the nose wheel, looked at it for a while, just looked weird so I redid the undercarriage.

I regularly do stuff on my builds just to make it look better, even though it may not be 100% true to original.
