Gentle persuation ended up with me getting a new Canon 70-300 IS lens for my birthday (don't think I'll be getting any prezzies for Xmas nor the next 4 birthdays nor wedding anniversaries) but hey ho, I got me another gadget! And what fun it made photography. I pushed the lens faaar out of its envelope, more about that later, but in any case, here are my Red Barrows pics. Do give me feedback on what works and what don't.
