Alain De Loor
Beautiful build, I love the weathering you have obtained on your bombs.. can you share your method? Your ALCAD work is also outstanding. What shades did you use? I would like to undertake an ALCAD finish eventually, when I have enough information on shades and their use. Cheers! -Al

cger
Hi all, many thanks for you kind comments, , it was quite a long build. To answer to Blackcollar's questions, the weathering of the bombs is explained in one of my messages above in the thread, (I did not invent it, it's shamelessly stolen from armor guys..) From memory the basic shade was Alcad white aluminium. Some panels were done in Dark aluminium and duraluminium. The panel lines were shaded with a thin line of dark aluminium to simulate some ripples in the sheets. Finally the center of some panels are sprayed with polished aluminium. The Alclad finish can be a bit uneven, so dont hesitate to buff it with a soft cloth. Best, Christian.
