FZ6
I recently purchased the Eduard Weekend Edition Nieport 17 featuring the markings of Adjutant Rene Dorme, Autumn 1916. I have noticed that there are different guns and top wings in the kit and the Illustration of the aircraft on the box lid differs to the parts the instructions tell you to use. My knowledge of World War I aircraft and French Aircraft in particular is very limited and I was wondering if it was best to follow the illustration on the box or the instructions to build this aircraft. Thanks in advance, Mark

FZ6
how about starting here = http://ark.com/~mdf/nieuport.html this is a good site for all noopy fans . or this = http://www.theaerodrome.com/forum/2002/13021-rene-dorme.html another great site . Thanks, The information has been really helpful. Judging by the picture it looks like the instructions are correct as the photograph on the Aerodrome forum shows the gun on the top wing so I'll follow the instructions on this one.
