1/72 Airfix FW190D

Recommended Posts

Greetings!

Although an older tool from the 1970's, it still has potential to build into a nice model.  Mostly out of the box with decals from Aero Master for aircraft flown by Hagen Foster in Spring 1945.  After completion, I noticed a few gaps in the canopy fit!  Many thanks for having a look.  Questions and comments are most welcome.

Bill

1977. It replaced the ancient 1958 moulding - which was well past its sell by date.

Excellent job on the Dora! I didn't realise (or remember, most likely) that Airfix had done one of these. Then Airfix have been around so long they've kitted most of the 'usual suspects' in terms of WWII subjects, at least regarding fighters (yes, I know, but what about the Farley Superfruitbat HF.VIIIIII...).

Regards,

Jason
