Ratch
This is the old tool Airfix 1/72 Tiger Moth with the front cockpit enclosed. Completed as part of the very first batch of Tiger Moths built for the RAF in 1931, numbering just 35 in total, and of these 6 were sent to the Central Flying School where they were modified and 5 became the traditional Aerobatic Display Team that the CFS were famous for. Central Flying School Aerobatic Display Team, RAF Wittering, 1932-33.

kapam
Would've been a tough one to tame, being the old tooling. Just excellent work to get it to that standard. Congratulations.
jean
Hi Ratch, great paint scheme you chose for this Moth. Never seen it before and it is indeed a sight to behold. And a splendid job on this prehistoric kit! It was the first biplane I built as a youngster and I was so proud of it. And I have another one in the stash, and for unknown reasons I am in no rush to tackle it... Wonder why? Great show JR 1

stevehnz
That is really nice Ratch, I 'm thinking of the one among my stuff in a more positive light now I'd seen what can be done with them. Steve.
