Britman
A nice polar welcome in the Yellowknife terminal. On to Buffalo airways and a shufty round and a flight! Get these covers off! Clear prop! Boss Jo McBryans dog Ex Lufthansa C46, clue under the cockpit. C46 Our chariot arrives from the hangar for a thirty minute local with Jo and his dog in command. No cockpit door here. The young lady was on her last check flight before progressing to the fleet. Quite a warm day they said, only minus 15 plus the wind chill. Nice looksee inside this old girl. Norseman , Jo,s personal plane apparently. Back to the scanner....... Keith 10

Britman
Considering the popularity of Buffalo airways , there is a distinct lack of decals for the various aircraft.

Paul J
Marvellous set of pics and of course the Buffalo stuff!!! Modelling wise, I have built DC-3 'PNR using Leading Edge Decals and have also done the MAch kit of the DC-4. The decals for my DC_4 were custom made and the green mixed courtesy of my local hardware store and a Dulux paint chart! Somewhere in the BM archives should be pics of both my builds. Going back to the pics the one s with the dog are poignant... she died at some point during the filming of series 5 of Ice Pilots. Series 6 has nevr been shown on UK TV though. |( I do have the DVD set for this series happily)

Yes , Canada and Alaska 2001 as in the sub title. Sault Ste.Marie does not ring any bells.
