replicant
Hello Britmodellers, this April Manfred von Richthofen died 100 years ago, German Modelling Magazine ModellFan presented various planes dedicated to him ranging from WWI to present with todays JG 71 "Richthofen". This Spook is one of these... It is a Revell F with a lot of changes to look like a real spook... This Luftwaffen-Diesel greeted the crowd in Fairford 2004 Cheers, Thomas

jean
Now this is a real Phantom!!! Really superb. And although I prefer the Norm 76 camo, your model is outstanding. Congrats! JR

Unfinished project
Cracking build reminds me of arrivals day before the Leuchars Airshow. The German F-4s were always one of the highlights for me
replicant
Thank you, mates! I am happy that you like my Spook. I built 10 or so, only 2 survived. I am a Phan of that! 2 Airphix are waiting... Cheers, Thomas

kapam
I don't know Phantoms to the detail that many appear to, but that's a very fine model!

replicant
Wow! Wow! Thank you, that you like Ze German Diesel! (OK. This has nothing do do with the Volkswagen Diesel-Gate. Excuse me. But the Spook did really smoke and made noise plus VIBRATIONS . THAT i liked!) FAAMAN
Beautifully built and finished, love the colour scheme My Grandfather and his mates saw the baron shot down and crash less than 100yards away, he said the plane was not all over red and clearly remembered some green with an all blue underside. When I was very young (5 or 6 years old) one of my Grandfather's mates at an ANZAC Day do at the mates' home showed me a gun sight and some frayed and faded red canvas with the word "FOK" on it (much to my Grandfather's shock). My very surprised Grandfather and the rest of his surviving mates made the gent in question return the items to the baron's family.
Rich G
Absolutely stunning work, the variation in colour and the excellent weathering, particularly the ventral fuel tank are impressive! Rich

Crossiant Oliver
It’s weird that one dash can make a difference between a WWII naval aircraft and a Vietnam jet. great job on the model though!
