Mig-15 - Eduard 1/72

Mig-15

Eduard  1/72

This was built back in 2015 from the Eduard Dual Combo kit (the other one from the kit is still waiting to be built). It's OOB apart from the scratch built intake cover, and the decals which came from a Print Scale sheet.

Love the red colour and dark undertone shading. Dirty underside also looks very authentic !

Also love the knocked about nose cover. Am sure it would have been thrown aside a lot by eager pilots wanting to get going !

Im guessing you made the intake cover, like I did to cover up the intake as I didn’t quite get it right and there was a big gap inside the intake.

Yes, pretty much the same reason. It just saved me from having to be too neat and tidy with the inside of the intake.

Nice :D

I may use that style of cover on my 1/48 Mig-15. Keep trying to think how I'd do the two half wedge ones that sit further inside, but this would be much easier.
