wellsprop
Hi all, Beleive it or not, I am still around! Finishing up my BEng and I've been super busy with dissertation for the past few months. Anyway, I decided to do something a little different from what I'm used to. The Sea Fury is more or less the ultimate piston fighter aircraft and represents (sadly) the end of the line for piston aircraft development. I decided to build SH's Sea Fury as VR930 as it would have been in 1948 (using decals from the Airfix kit). I didn't go too mad on the weathering and kept the final finish slightly more satin than the usual matt I would use for wartime aircraft. Nothing too fancy, just a fairly relaxing build of a magnificent (and comparatively massive) piston fighter. Tomoshenko
Very nice Ben. If you don't mind me saying, I think the rain drops are a little over scale 2

Bedders
Hello Ben and nice to see you back, with a 5-blader of a different sort this time (cf to your excellent Griffon Spitfires). Lovely job on this kit which I've just bought too... Justin

wellsprop
Thanks all Reckon I'll have a pop at Airfix's new Me262, but paint it up in RAF captured colours next (I've been reading Eric Brown's biography - that combined with the aerodynamic beauty of the 262 makes it quite irresistible!). Cheers, Ben.
