Ratch
The lozenges were painted freehand with Vallejo and Humbrol acrylics
Chillidragon
Very good indeed. So how did those bomb racks work? Did they just release, or were the bombs plucked and thrown?
Ray S
Excellent job Ratch! I always though this was the best of the Airfix WW1 biplanes from their early days. You have done the lozenge superbly too. Ray

I think they were thrown as they're described as grenades rather than bombs. Thanks very much.

Knight_Flyer
Very smart looking build. Had to turn my head away a few times as the pattern was appearing psychedelic - perhaps that was the idea behind the "camo" to disorientate any pilots attempting to shoot the plane down

Regards Dave It was a nice quick build. I painted the lozenges on Wednesday, put the decals on and assembled it yesterday and rigged it today. An old style build on an old style kit. Thanks for all your comments chaps, they're appreciated
Brandy
Hand painted lozenge? Rather you than me...nicely done though! Always good to see the old Airfix kits built. Ian

adey m
That is a really splendid Hannover Ratch. I tried terribly to follow the Airfix colour guide with my paint brush and all my Humbrols on my Hannover when I was 13, I have spent nearly fifty years thinking that Airfix were taking the micky .............. until I saw yours. You have proved that it can be done. Fantastic job. adey
