Hairtrigger
Doing the aforementioned should this have three aerials or just the one? Cant find a lot of reference, but have seen other models with three aerials in total. Tamiya don't even mention an aerial in the instructions. Dads203
I’m certain that some British AFV radios at the time required 2 antennas , one for transmit and one for receive like the Wireless set No 19 which I think was fitted to the Bren Gun Carrier, the 19 set was used to talk to higher formations. Just read that the No 19 radio set covered the HF and VHF bands hence two antennas being required, one for set A (HF) and one for set B (VHF) The 3rd antenna might be for a No 18 Wireless set which was used to talk to dismounted infantry units. Im not 100% certain on this so others might know more, these sets were well before my time in the Royal Signals https://web.archive.org/web/20070609012415/http://www.army.mod.uk/royalsignalsmuseum/equipment/wireless_set_no_19.htm HTH Dan
