Andy341
Hi, Can anyone shed any light on the afterburner can. I am starting the Eduard F8-E and have the Brassin tailpipe and afterburner can. However, does the afterburner can extend beyond the airframe, or is it within the airframe? I have trimmed it but 1mm remains beyond the airframe. Is this right or wrong. pigsty
It shouldn't extend beyond the fixed tailcone. In some photographs there's a suggestion of a slight projection, which is probably because the petals of the afterburner nozzle are fully open, but most show the two structures level with each other. Even if it did stick out slightly, 1mm would be overdoing it. If I were you I'd cut it back flush.
